우분투에서 터치패드 켜고 끄기(touchpad-indicator)

우분투에서 터치패드를 관리할수 있는 기능을 추가하는 방법입니다.
터미널에서 touchpad-indicator 를 설치하기만 하면 됩니다.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install touchpad-indicator

설치가 완료되면 설정을 위하여 실행합니다.
실행하면 오른쪽 위에 패드모양의 아이콘이 나타납니다.

또한 아이콘을 오른클릭하여 Preferences 메뉴에서
Autostart (우분투 시작시 자동 시작) 와 Disable touchpad when mouse plugged (마우스 연결시 마우스패드 비활성화)를 체크해서 사용하고 있습니다.

이거 은근히 편리하네요.

MS office 2010 설치 (ubuntu, wine 이용)

wine 1.4도 나온 설치 기념으로 이전에 실패했었던 MS오피스2010 을 설치 도전합니다.
웬지 될것만 같은 강함 느낌때문에.....??

일단 오피스 설치 프로그램은 알아서 구하셔야 합니다.
wine도 이미 설치되어 있어야 합니다.
winecfg 를 띄워서 윈도우즈 버전을 Vista로 변경합니다.

winetricks 명령어를 통하여 오피스 설치 준비를 합니다. winetricks 명령어는 wine 설치시 같이 설치되더군요.
wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
./winetricks msxml3 dotnet20 fontfix gdiplus vb3run vb4run vb5run vb6run riched20 riched30 vcrun2005sp1 vcrun2008 msxml6 allfonts
위 명령어를 실행하면 파일을 다운 받으라며 웹페이지가 나옵니다.

위 주소에 접속하여 msxml3.msi 파일을 다운 받아 홈디렉토리 밑에 .cache/winetricks/msxml3/ 경로에 복사하고 다시 동일한 winetricks 명령어를 실행합니다.

winetricks 를 이용한 설치가 완료되면 자동으로 winecfg의 라이브러리 탭에 등록된 내용을 확인합니다.

설치 끝!!
폰트가 조금 흐릿하기는 한데... 차차 해결하기로 하고!!
일단 기분 좋음.ㅋ

wine 1.4 설치

오늘 쉬는 날입니다.
맨날 서버역활을 하던 노트북을 가방에 싸들고 자주가던 도서관에 갔더니 휴관일이네요.
화요일이 휴관일인건 알고 있었지만 요즘 요일 개념이 점점 뇌에서 사라지고 있어서 불꺼진 도서관을 보고서야 알았습니다.

무거운 가방을 들고 돌아다니다가 커피오다란 곳을 찾았습니다.
웬지 쉬는날이면 계속 찾을것 같은 카페입니다.
주말엔 주차장에 자리가 없기로 유명하지만 오늘은 평일이라 2층도 한가롭습니다.
평일의 아지트가 될 이곳에서 wine 을 설치하고 있습니다.

공식적으로 새로운 버전이 나온것은 아닌것 같습니다.
설치시 wine1.3이라고 하는 것을 보면요.
달라진 점은 무척 많은것 같아 보입니다. 내용이 많으니까요.
그러나 저는 보기싫은 영어 때문에 내용을 살펴보지는 않았습니다.
언젠가는 능숙하게 볼수 있을날을 위하여 하루 4시간씩!!

제가 자주 사용하는 명령어는 제어판을 띄워주는 명령어인 wine control 입니다.

wine을 처음 설치하였다면 wine을 전반적으로 설정하는 명령어인 winecfg 를 미리 실행해 두는것이 이롭습니다.
winecfg를 실행하게 되면 홈디렉토리 밑에 .wine을 생성하게됩니다.

wine을 이용하여 설치한 프로그램 삭제시에는 wine uninstaller 명령어를 이용합니다.

wine을 통하여 프로그램 실행 시 한글 깨짐을 방지 하기 위하여 각종폰트를 넣어주세요.
폰트가 있는 디렉토리에서...
sudo cp * ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/

Airdroid

전부터 알고 있던 안드로이드 앱이었습니다.
앱을 알면 그냥 설치해서 그냥 사용만 하면 되는것인데
SDK 환경 구성 글 이후 처음으로 안드로이드에 대한 글을 올립니다.

airdroid 는 그냥 사용할수도 있는데 약간의 명령어를 입력해야 하는 경우가 발생할때가 있어
블로그에 메모 하려고 합니다.
airdroid 앱은 공식 홈페이지 또는 구글 플레이(마켓)에서 다운 가능합니다.

airdroid 는 PC를 이용하여 안드로이드폰을 관리할수 있는 앱입니다.
국내 블로그에서도 이미 많이 소개되어 검색해보시면 정보를 얻을수 있습니다.

가장 마음에 드는 기능은 클립보드 공유 입니다.
가끔 휴대폰에서 어떤 내용을 PC에서 사용하고자 할 경우 인데요.
PC와 폰과의 클립보드를 공유 할수 있도록 합니다.

그 외에도 SMS 관리와 파일 관리 등을 할수가 있습니다.
그러나!!
이 모든 기능들은 기본적으로 와이파이 연결을 전제로 합니다.
와이파이 연결도 같은 와이파이 환경이나 테더링 연결시 가능합니다.
그렇다면 PC에서는 이미 유선연결을 이용하고 있으며 무선 연결을 사용하기 싫다면???

USB 연결을 통하여 airdroid 를 이용할수 있습니다.
먼저 USB가 연결된 PC에서는 안드로이드 SDK가 구성 되어 있어야 하며
안드로이드 폰에는 USB 디버깅(시스템설정-애플리케이션-개발)이 활성화 상태여야 합니다.
터미널 또는 윈도우 cmd 창에서 다음의 adb 명령을 실행합니다.
adb forward tcp:8888 tcp:8888

이제 USB케이블을 통하여 PC에서 폰으로 접속해볼수 있습니다!! (물론 폰에서 Airdroid 를 켜둔 상태)
접속은 브라우져에서 아래 주소를 입력해보시면 됩니다~

shell 에서 이전 명령어

tcsh나 bash쉘에서 일반적으로 방향키를 사용하면 이전 명령어를 볼수 있습니다.
그러나 ksh 에서는 방향키가 사용되지 않습니다.

그래서 ksh 를 사용하는 일반적인 시스템에서는 set -o vi 명령을 통하여 이전 명령을 볼수 있도록 활성화 한 후
Esc + k 를 통하여 이전 명령어를 확인합니다.

이러한 방법은 bash 에서도 그대로 사용할 수 있으며,
Esc + k 를 사용하여 이전 명령어를 보는것이 엄청난 습관이 되어 있었습니다.

그러나 요즘 tcsh 를 사용하는 몇몇 장비들을 가끔 들어가게 되면서 Esc + k 가 되지 않아 불편함을 느끼고 있었는데...
tcsh 에서는 set -o vi 가 아니라 bindkey -v 를 통하여 활성화 되더군요.

tcsh 에서도 Esc + k 를 이용할수 있네요.

사실 Esc + k 뿐 아니라 vi 명령어를 모두 사용할수 있습니다.

기존 RAW Device 방식이 아닌 oracleasm 방식을 이용하려고 합니다.

VirtualBox 에서 제공하는 공유 가능한 디스크 설정을 이용하할것입니다. 원하는 디렉토리에 폴더를 생성하고 가상 공유 디스크를 생성합니다.

- VirtualBox 기능을 이용하여 복사

- Virtualbox 에서 oracle10gRAC2 생성(기존 디스크 사용 기능 이용)
- 공유 디스크 연결

16. 설치를 진행합니다.

oracle RAC 11g 설치기(Virtual BOX)

RAC 설치 설치방법을 정리하여 올리기로 결정하고 여러가지 방법으로 oracle RAC 11g 설치를 해보았습니다.

물론 나만의 테스트 환경을 만들어보기 위한 목적이 강했습니다.

설치 환경을 준비하는 노트북의 성능이 좋다면 더 좋았겠지만 오라클에서 요구하는 최저사양도 갖추지 못하였습니다.

이 문서 작성을 위하여 기존 있던 환경을 삭제 하고 다시 처음부터 다시 설치합니다.

0. 설치시 사용한 환경.

- VirtualBox 4.1.6

- 노트북 CPU 1.3 dual, RAM 2G

- Guest OS : ORACLE Enterprise Linux 5 update 7

- Host OS : Ubuntu Linux

1. Share Disk 생성

VirtualBox 에서 제공하는 공유 가능한 디스크 설정을 이용하할것입니다. 원하는 디렉토리에 폴더를 생성하고 가상 공유 디스크 생성

2. 가상 OS 생성 및 설치

가상 OS는 ORACLE Linux 를 사용하였으며 제가 이전에 쓴 글을 참조하시면 oracle Linux를 다운받고 설치하는 방법을 알수 있을것입니다.

다음 환경은 오라클 리눅스를 설치하는데 사용된 VirtualBox 환경입니다.

메모리 : 1G (최소 1.6G는 되어야 하나 노트북 사양이 따라 주지 않아 1G로 하였습니다. 메모리가 여유되시는 분은 1.6G로 하시기 바랍니다.)

하드디스크 : 30G, 컨트롤러 이름 변경(기본 한글로 되어 있어서 나중 문제 소지를 제거하고자 영어로 변경하였습니다.)

네트워크

- 1,4 번 어댑터는 가상 OS에서 인터넷을 위한 설정이며, RAC 구성에는 전혀 영향이 없습니다.

- 2번 어댑터는 호스트PC와 연결하기 위한 어댑터이며 RAC 구성에서는 Public Interface 입니다.

- 3번 어댑터는 가상 노드간 연결되기 위한 어탭터이며 RAC 구성에서는 Private Interface 입니다.

그 외에 불필요한 오디오 장치를 제거 하였으며, OS설치 CD를 넣어놓았습니다.

환경을 마치고 OS 설치를 진행합니다.

2-1. 오라클 리눅스 설치 문서는 다른 곳에서도 볼수 있으니 이미지 없이 옵션 위주로 노트 하겠습니다.

- CD 검사 화면 : Skip

- 설치 환경 언어 : 한국어 선택

- 키보드 : 영어 키보드(기본값)

- 파티션 설정 : 사용자 레이아웃 만들기(Swap 8192M,/boot 200M,/ 나머지)

- Grub (기본값)

- 방화벽, SELinux 활성화 하지 않습니다.

- 계정 생성하지 않습니다.

- 이렇게 설치가 완료되면 이제 Putty나 SecureCRT와 같은 툴로 접근이 가능합니다. eth1 장치로 접근이 가능하며 지금 환경에서는 192.168.10.111이 됩니다.

- 저는 호스트가 리눅스라서 그냥 ssh를 이용하여 작업하였습니다.

3. 게스트 확장 설치

- 가상의 장치들을 정상적으로 인식하기 위하여 가상 OS에서 게스트 확장 설치를 통하여 설정합니다.

- Virtualbox 에서 게시트 확장 설치 메뉴 누르면 게스트 OS에서 CD가 삽입됩니다.

- root 계정에서 설치합니다.

5. 가상 OS 복사

메모리 : 1G (최소 1.6G는 되어야 하나 노트북 사양이 따라 주지 않아 1G로 하였습니다. 메모리가 여유되시는 분은 1.6G로 하시기 바랍니다.)

하드디스크 : 30G, 컨트롤러 이름 변경(기본 한글로 되어 있어서 나중 문제 소지를 제거하고자 영어로 변경하였습니다.)

네트워크

- 1,4 번 어댑터는 가상 OS에서 인터넷을 위한 설정이며, RAC 구성에는 전혀 영향이 없습니다.

- 2번 어댑터는 호스트PC와 연결하기 위한 어댑터이며 RAC 구성에서는 Public Interface 입니다.

- 3번 어댑터는 가상 노드간 연결되기 위한 어탭터이며 RAC 구성에서는 Private Interface 입니다.

그 외에 불필요한 오디오 장치를 제거 하였으며, OS설치 CD를 넣어놓았습니다.

환경을 마치고 OS 설치를 진행합니다.

2-1. 오라클 리눅스 설치 문서는 다른 곳에서도 볼수 있으니 이미지 없이 옵션 위주로 노트 하겠습니다.

- 이렇게 설치가 완료되면 이제 Putty나 SecureCRT와 같은 툴로 접근이 가능합니다. eth1 장치로 접근이 가능하며 지금 환경에서는 192.168.10.111이 됩니다.

- 저는 호스트가 리눅스라서 그냥 ssh를 이용하여 작업하였습니다.

3. 게스트 확장 설치

- 가상의 장치들을 정상적으로 인식하기 위하여 가상 OS에서 게스트 확장 설치를 통하여 설정합니다.

- Virtualbox 에서 게시트 확장 설치 메뉴 누르면 게스트 OS에서 CD가 삽입됩니다.

- root 계정에서 설치합니다.

위와 같은 에러 메세지가 보이더군요.

무슨 버그라는데...

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf

오라클에서는 고객들을 위하여 메타링크라는 홈페이지를 운영하고있습니다.

정식으로 계약하여 사용하는 고객들은 이 사이트에서 사용할수 있는 권한을 부여받아 각종 패치와 제품 보안 소식 SR 요청 등...

체계화된 고객지원 사이트라고 생각하실수 있습니다.

오라클 계속에서 업무를 하시는 분들중 상당수의 분들은 이 사이트를 알고 있을것입니다.

예전부터 알고 있던 분들은 위의 주소로 많이 알고 있으며, 위 주소에서 메타링크라는 말도 비롯되었습니다.

2009 말부터 오라클에서는 선과의 합병으로 인한 큰 변화가 일고 있었습니다.

그 변화에 맞추어 메타링크 사이트는 flash를 이용하여 좀더 사용 편리성과 여러 기능들을 추가하고자 했습니다.

그러나 초기 익숙하지 않은 화면 구성으로 많은 사람들이 불만을 말하였습니다.

사이트 주소또한 https://support.oracle.com 이렇게 바뀌었습니다.

메타링크라는 이름보다는 좀더 고객지원 사이트 답게 변경되었습니다.

물론 예전의 메타링크도 여전히 지원하고 있습니다. 메타링크 사이트 접속 시도시 자동으로 support.... 사이트로 이동하게 됩니다.

이미 많은 분들이 알고 있을 이 사실을!!

우분투에서 sqlplus 실행

우분투에서 오라클 서버에 접속을 하기 위하여 sqlplus 툴만 설치하기로 하였습니다.
오라클에서는 이를 위하여 가벼운 rpm 패키지를 제공하고 있습니다.
인스턴트 클라이언트라고 부르는 것 같은데 설치는 알고나면 간단합니다.

오라클 사이트에 접속 -> 다운로드 버튼 -> 데이터베이스 카테고리부분에서 인스턴트 클라이언트 선택하여 원하는 운영체제를 선택하여 다운로드 합니다.
저는 우분투에 설치를 할 것이어서 Instant Client for Linux x86 를 클릭했습니다.

Accept License Agreement 를 클릭하여 라인센스에 동의 하신 후 아래 두 파일을 다운 받았습니다.

oracle-instantclient11.2-basic-11.2.0.2.0.i386.rpm

oracle-instantclient11.2-sqlplus-11.2.0.2.0.i386.rpm

RPM 설치파일이기 때문에 다음 프로그램이 필요합니다.

sudo apt-get install alien

프로그램 의존성으로 다음 프로그램도 설치 여부를 확인합니다.
sudo apt-get install libaio1

다운 받은 프로그램을 설치 합니다.
sudo dpkg -i oracle-instantclient*basic*.deb
sudo dpkg -i oracle-instantclient*sqlplus*.deb

설치가 끝난 후 각종 설정을 통하여 sqlplus 를 사용합니다.
vi ~/tnsnames.ora
export TNS_ADMIN=~
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client/lib/
sudo chmod go+x /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client/lib/

VirtualBox 커널 관련 오류

열심히 업데이트 하면서 사용하던 우분투에서 virtualbox가 에러가 나면서 실행되지 않았습니다.

그 동안 그냥 sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup 를 하면 다시 사용할수가 있었는데 이번엔 이 명령어 자체가 에러가 났습니다.

재부팅 하느 바람에 에러 메세지를 메모해 두지 못했네요. 이렇게 빨리 해결될줄 몰랐습니다.

dkms 어쩌고 하면서 에러가 나길레 sudo dkms status 명령어를 통하여 확인했더니 dkms 문제인것을 확인시켜 주었습니다.

Error! Could not locate dkms.conf file.
File: does not exist.

dkms를 가지고 이것저것 해보다가 관련 파일들을 지우고 다시 시도해보니 정상적으로 작동하네요.

cd /var/lib/dkms/
rm -rf vboxhost virtualbox

sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

* Stopping VirtualBox kernel modules [ OK ]

* Uninstalling old VirtualBox DKMS kernel modules [ OK ]

오라클에서 이런 에러날때!!!

dbms_output.put_line 같은 것으로 출력하고자 할때 해당 문자열의 길이가 너무 길경우 발생할수 있습니다.

오라클 버전에 따라 기본 출력 가능한 크기가 다를 수 있으나 10g 기준으로 봤을때 기본값으로는 20000 bytes 로 보입니다.

이값을 늘려주기 위해서는 다음과 같이 그 값을 늘려주시면 됩니다.
